details
* These are a knock-off of Barney’s Co-Op boots which retailed last year {and sold out asap} for $750 – see the comparison here – I actually like these better :0)
* Other than being difficult to get on AND needing assistance pulling them off, they are very comfortable to walk in – once you get used to so much leather around your knees. {I did a few squats after putting them on to soften up the leather a bit and give them a start on their natural “slouch”}
* They didn’t hurt my feet or give me blisters – though I didn’t walk extensively in them.
* The heel is not ridiculously high and the hidden platform makes them even less so …though you know I love heels {I would like them a teeny bit higher really} but this height is definitely easier to walk in.
* I wore them with thinnish socks but not stockings and did NOT need to size up. I bought an {American size} 9. I wear a 9 in all but designer shoes – because Italian shoes are made so narrow, I always have to size up to a 40.
* The buckles on the sides are gold …but not in a GARISHLY BRIGHT sort of way. I even thought if I hated the buckles, I could just cut the straps off all-together.
* I was able to fit my skinny jeans in them no problem by tucking them in socks …but any thicker denim may have been problematic. Though I’m not known for my “skinny” legs, lol.
* They look more “luxurious” in person than in the photos here.

* Matiko OTK Cadie Boot on AMAZON…amazon has the most sizes available but sadly they are not on sale.
* They’re ON SALE at Revolve Clothing but only have size 6.5 in each color
* Endless has them as well in many available sizes for $330
NOTE: it’s kind of mind-blowing to me that a knock-off boot retails for $330 …just sayin’ $330 is not necessarily budget friendly for all. I got both of mine for the price of one {about $357 total} because they were on sale at HauteLook. You could wait for their next sale or check all the “sale” sites.
