This Aspen Inspired Private Luxury Mountain Retreat ( via Zillow ) was recently sold in September, but it still popped up in my recommended local homes email, because obviously at $2,875,000, it’s totally in my price range 😉 and I’m crushing on it… HARD.
At 5 beds 5 baths and 5,495 sqft, it’s not a home I necessarily “need” but it’s giving me all those dreamy winter mountain movie moments, and who says one can’t dream, right? It’s sold anyway, but I’m still in love. It’s further away from the lake and up close to the rim of the mountain, but looks like it’s only about 3 or 4 minutes away from where I am now. I may just take a drive later today to see it…
In the movie version, I’d randomly bump into the handsome new owner on the slopes (without knowing, of course) and he’d save me in some way or another and then we’d fall madly in love with each other in about three days and then I’d move into his Aspen Inspired Mountain Luxury Retreat just in time for an amazingly beautiful and breathtaking white Christmas… and then we’d live happily ever after. The End.
In reality though, I’d rather buy the house myself… and then live happily ever after – with the love of my life, of course 😉
