What I’m Wearing
* Vintage ivory/white linen Ralph Lauren double breasted dress.
* Victoria’s Secret open cardigan in dark olive
* Animal print scarf …which is just a yard or so of sheer fabric …I used some of it in a DIY
* Vintage gold cuff bracelet and gold watch …again, simple accessories
* Pour La Victoire Vanna buckle sandal …on sale NOW AT GILT.
* Tom Ford cat eyes …still going strong.
* Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Noe bag
* Title: lyrics from The Beatles “Eleanor Rigby” …one of my favorites.
To be quite honest, I felt like a flight attendant stuck somewhere between the 60’s and the 80’s in this outfit …but I kind of loved it.
Thank you all so very much for participating in naming Stray Cat! I’m happy to say that Achilles is winning by a landslide …and thank you all for your expert cat advice. It is much appreciated as I’m a virgin cat owner. A tiny update: when I brought the tuna out to feed him his dinner last night, he was much more gentle and even started eating it while I was still kneeling by his dish. That was a first and it was sweet. It’s crazy how quickly this cat has won my heart really. It was completely unexpected 😉

Awesome way to spice up a white dress! You look ravishing with the eye cats, but that isn’t new, you rock them! And speaking of cats, Achilles sounds lovely!

Your blog is so fun!! Thank you for sharing your life with so many. I am not really a cat person personnaly but I have heard/read in some cultures cats (especially) strays are gifts from GOD and are considered to bring “luck”. So maybe you can silently tell him/her (the cat) a wish from your heart and who knows…..
At any rate, love your blog & definetely love those shoes!! =)

Flight attendants don’t look that fashionable, even in the 60’s. maybe, country club chic?

Hi there! Long time reader, first time commenter! LOVE your blog…you have inspired me to stop dressing so casual for work and really kick my style into high gear…so THANK YOU!! Also, since you are now a kitty owner, if you ever want to get a cat to play, but really good catnip. I bought two cute “cigars” and a “banana” from the company Yeowzaa (I think that’s the spelling) and my cat went nuts. Google it and you can get them dirt cheap…they are staples in our home! Enjoy!

Happy hump day indeed!
a) I love that studded pink ottoman!
b) Eleanor Rigby is a classic, I haven’t heard it in ages though… actually reminds me somehow of that Thelma and Louise song, “The Ballad of Lucy Jordan” by Marianne Faithfull
