What I’m Wearing…
* Grey wash Skinny Sculpt Ankle jeans by Citizens of Humanity
* Dark grey t-shirt from Rite Aid, yup for like $5 – and it’s my favorite. I randomly bought it there one day to use for a DIY but when I tried it on after I got home, I loved it so much, I left it as it was. I keep meaning to see if they have more or if it was just one of those random things but I forget every time I go… because who buys clothes at the drug store {unless it’s an emergency, right?} lol
* Black faux leather bomber jacket by Obey {also seen here}
* Lace up combat boots by Joie – Shoes… on heavy rotation at the moment.
* Sunglasses by Thierry Lasry
* Balenciaga classic town bag
* Title: Bruno Mars ‘Moonshine’
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect grey jeans for a while now and am happy to announce that this Citizens of Humanity pair is/are the winner/s! I’m sure you’re as relieved as I am 😉 and I was a little skeptical of these because the reviews said they stretched out quickly… so I sized down. And though I think I’ve just gone down a size in jeans, because I’ve now had to size down in two different brands, I did NOT find that they stretched out, in fact, they fit perfectly. But maybe they’re cut for people with larger backsides, like me, lol… which wasn’t always the norm in denim territory.
Also you may have noticed {or not} that I wore my bangs back. I decided to just blow dry them back rather than “waiting for them to grow out” to see how it would look, and I was actually really surprised at how well they stayed. I mean, my hair was BIG with a bit of an ’80s prom feel to it, but I loved it. This was day two, so the front had fallen a little and I still didn’t mind it. I love actually having the option to wear my bangs down or back at the moment, now that I’m not AS upset about my forehead lines {which in all honesty, was the catalyst to cutting my bangs in the first place.} Which also means, I maybe… just maybe, am accepting my age a little more gracefully at the moment. Or maybe I’m just sick of focusing on the lines around my mouth when I can’t see my forehead. It’s possible. But I’m still filler-free {not that I’m proud, necessarily} just noting it really. But happy to be able to change my look up a little bit, since I’ve had the bangs now for a little over a year.
