I was GOING to wait until October to start posting Halloween inspo, BUT this was just too darn cute to pass up! Besides, I mean, if you’re anything like me, you’re really kind of thinking about what you’re going to be for Halloween all year long, right?
Inspired by an illustration by Rene Grau (see below), Brittany Jepsen created this Bouquet of Flowers Halloween Costume DIY out of paper for her blog The House that Lars Built back in October 2016. LAST. YEAR.
How cute is that!?!
It seems as though designer Jeremy Scott was equally inspired by the illustration this year and sent model after model down the runway for the Moschino Resort 2018 Collection dressed as actual flowers or, bouquet’s of flowers… making THIS a super fun Halloween costume to replicate this year.
Whether you use fabric or silk flowers or make them yourself from paper, this is a super fun DIY and Halloween costume that will surely win you “best costume award” …or at the very least, make for some very cheesy and very awkward pick-up lines like . . . If you were a flower, I would pick you.
Better yet! Grab a friend who’s willing to be a bride and now you’ve got a fun couples costume!
Make it Easy on yourself!
Wear a white strapless dress with a big red sash and bow and go crazy with some faux flowers! Don’t forget the love note!
