Love is Stronger Than Pride

equestrian look with lace skirt

What I’m Wearing…

* Crocheted lace dress by Addison {see it here as a dress!}
* Vintage burgundy sweater by Halston {I think it was my mom’s or maybe my grandma’s & probably more like the Halston Heritage line}
* Vintage blazer by Ralph Lauren
* Vintage necklace + chain bracelet + Nike+ Fuelband
* Square tortoise sunglasses by Stella McCartney
* Burgundy riding boots by Juicy Couture
* Classic Louis Vuitton Speedy satchel which I haven’t used for a few years but just worked with this equestrian inspired outfit {vintage rabbit’s foot… this is seriously ancient. I’d never buy a new one, but for some reason this ancient one became part of the trinkets hanging from my handbag ages ago and I haven’t removed it… if you look closely, the LV keys to the lock are there too, lol}

Title: I still really really love you… “Love is Stronger Than Pride” Sade… her voice is just heavenly

Just feeling a classic equestrian look, but I wanted to mix it up a little with the crocheted lace. It feels more like a Fall outfit really, but I couldn’t help wearing it now. This winter has been so dry it’s sad really. I know the other coast has gotten covered in snow -too much really, but it has only snowed twice here and rained about three times. It’s crazy because last winter we really felt like we had moved to where there were actual seasons, and this winter has been just a more extreme LA winter… freezing but nothing to show for it. I missed the glistening winter we had when we first moved up here. Hopefully next winter we’ll get a little frozen back… but in the mean time we need some moisture for our thirsty trees!

    what a fab outfit!

    it is in the low 80’s here this week. IT IS NUTS. our winter was a joke. i have no idea what to wear. i guess it is a lot better here (weather-wise, etc. — lol) than in many parts of the u.s., but we would benefit from a whole lot of rain. preferably that rain comes thundering down when i am not trying to drive in it!

    p.s. the bf and i went to the humane society to get his daughter a bunny, and i noticed as we were getting out of the car to go inside that the bf had a RABBIT’S FOOT KEY CHAIN. omfg.

    I’ve always loved burgundy. (I still have an old boyfriend’s burgundy V-neck sweater.) Love the burgundy sweater, love the boots, love the grey blazer, love lace! All beautifully styled, too!

    Oops……..the blazer looks light grey on my laptop. Guess it’s beige (or whatever).
