You Can Get Addicted to a Certain Kind of Sadness

What I’m Wearing…

* White tee, cut & ripped
* Skinny cargos by J Brand … seriously ANCIENT and still love
* Oversized sunglasses by Ferragamo
* Alexander Wang Mini ‘rockie’ bag
* Leather slides by Vince

This outfit is boring af and probably not even worthy of documenting, but it’s my go-to at the moment, and it seems like every time I have to run out to do anything, I pull on these cargo pants with either a black or white tee and either slides or my vans. It’s funny because I’ve had these pants for so many years and they just keep on keepin’ on. They always work, they’re always comfy no matter if I’m 5lbs up or down, they win. There’s something about cargo pants that are just so easy to wear.

* Title: Hunter Plake ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’Told myself that you were right for me… But felt so lonely in your company… And I don’t wanna live that way… Reading into every word you say… But you treat me like a stranger and that feels so rough… I’ll admit that I was glad that it was over… now you’re just somebody that I used to know.

God The Voice was SO GOOD this season… don’t you think? I seriously couldn’t get over it. I finally watched the finale last night and was just blown away. I’m OBSESSED with Hunter Plake’s voice, have downloaded all of his songs, and love this duet of Don’t Speak with Gwen. I tried to find it on iTunes but it’s not available, which is crazy because songs from every other episode are available to download but the finale. Anyway, who watched and loved as much as I did?

…intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life, where histories of all people are connected, and we are able to know everything, because it’s all written there. ~ The Alchemist
