Follow me on Instagram to see these in real time. Come back here every Sunday for all the details.
There are a few thrift shops here that are super easy to just stop in once a while, so on my way to the drugstore yesterday, I did just that and for a little over $21 found these little trinkets. I will use the vintage teapot as a pen holder on my desk 🙂
I was hoping to keep Christmas up for another week, but the tree started drooping and the ornaments began dropping like flies today. Thus, tis all sitting on my dining room table now until I actually decide to finish and put it back in the garage until next year.
I’ve been trying to stay away from my computer and working this week and until tonight, I’ve been doing a pretty great job at it. I really never give myself any breaks, so it feels nice. The husband and I went up the mountain a bit to the Heaps Peak Arboretum trail where you can learn about all the trees and animals and hike through the mountains. It was gorgeous, although we’ll have to come back in Spring and Summer to see what the trees look like when they’re not just branches, lol.
After our learning hike, we stopped at a pizza place in Skyforest we’d never been to and it was ADORABLE! I took enough photos to create a post, so I will share sometime this week because it’s really cute! Their ceiling fixtures were made from vintage grape picking baskets from Italy, and were rustic-fabulous!
Our fave slumber party friends Josh & Rafi came up to celebrate New Years with us and brought us gifts wrapped in glam wallpaper. I expect nothing less from these fabulous designers though. See their work at Form LA
One of my favorite walk/hikes near us has this backwoods/foresty feel and I just love it.

Happy Weekend Lovecats!
* Hope you’re having a lovely one.
