We just started walks again, after their inability to A. figure it out and B. not eat everything they see … and it’s so much better. Trevor pees on everything while Randy doesn’t pee even once. Randy also tries to grab both leashes {most of the time} to tug and walk himself and is so proud when he does so. It’s ridiculously cute but also slightly annoying when we’re just trying to get a little extra exercise in and get some pees out. They’re getting so big… I think they still have another growth spurt though. They’re about 8 months old now. Oh puppies.

I love this lavender JewelScent candle and as it was burning last night, I saw a little foil wrapped treasure. I grabbed a small spoon and scooped the gold from the hot wax… when I opened it, I found this gorgeous little ring in the perfect size 6. And though it’s just a little faux bling, it looked really pretty with my pave wedding band.
I think they make super fun gifts with an extra surprise! The jewels hidden inside are said to be worth from $10-$7500! Could you imagine finding a real gem?!

These two cuties are Trevor & Randy’s other brothers that didn’t come home with us. They were obviously ridiculously cute but they didn’t choose us. If you look closely you can see Trevor & Randy in the foreground loving us up. They were all only 6 weeks old here #TBT to March 2014

Wednesday // waiting on the patio to get my hair done when it suddenly started raining, the clouds covered and thunder rolled in. I watched the ducks speed up their pace and head for the bank, shaking off their feathers as they landed on dry ground. About ten minutes after sitting in my chair, and with only one foil bleached, the power went out in the salon and made things interesting… for only about five minutes when it all shone brightly again.

And my new blonde hairs in this ridiculously closeup and rare selfie. Though it’s a bit yellow in the photo, I LOVE the color she gets. If you’re in the area, my stylist is Shannon at Rumors in the village – also totally obsessed with my 3D Fiber lashes. Here, for day, I used just a little and still added length and volume. It’s the best ever.

My pre-fall feathered nails tutorial and manicure lasted about a week. You can see it starting to chip in my first JewelScent photo.
Trevor is obsessed with water. Rain, tub, bowl, spray bottle, in whatever form he can get it, he wants it. We should have known by the way he would drink all the water in the bowl when he was a puppy. He didn’t understand to just take what he needed, but would drink it until it was gone. We had to keep their water in tiny bowls so he wouldn’t explode. He’s fine now with the drinking but does have a bit of an obsession with falling water still.
We finally got the plans for the overhead canopy/roof for our new deck and officially began our landscaping project. Since it will be winter soon, we’re not sure exactly how much we’ll move forward at this point, but come Spring, it’s so ON!
When they sleep, they usually sleep together… it’s pretty ridiculous.
