Lovecats, it’s Summer and I’m loving every minute of it. I’d like to get to the beach more often, but I live by a lake, so for now {and until I get a second house on the sand ;)}, this’ll have to do. Besides, I feel extremely lucky I get to live where I live so thinking about escaping it to sit in traffic to get to a different body of water, is just silliness, right? Right.
Anyway, if you follow my Snaps, you may be sick and tired of seeing me in a bikini… but actually it’s only about once or twice a week at the moment because work, you know, and though this is a LOT, there are so many more I didn’t include. Generally by Thursday, I have some free time for playing in the sun.
I get a ton of questions about my suits, a few of which are from my Target Style swimwear post earlier in the year, IN THE SNOW. It’s nice to wear them in the sun, I gotta say, and the rest are a mix and match situation from Zimmermann, Yandy, Roxy, Reef, Quicksilver, Billabong, Vix Swimwear, and Victoria’s Secret.
The above pairing is my favorite… it’s a random black top with Roxy bottoms that have just a little ruffle along the back, and I love it. It’s my go-to suit, the one I throw on the most.
Some days I just shoot a video… the top is the same black top from the first suit but the bottoms are from Victoria’s Secret, and the fleshy area is mesh. I just recently remembered I had this suit, which came with a cute top, but that covers too much skin for a good little tan.
Another fave, when I don’t want strap lines, the ruffle top is by Zimmermann and the bottoms are by ViX.
Some shots are from the same day, others are from different days where I happen to be wearing the same suit.
The metallic striped bikini above is pretty old now actually, and is by Reef.
Yandy.com sent me this adorable one-piece that I just LOVE. I rarely wear one pieces in the sun, usually with outfits, but this one is so soft and so comfy, I may just live in it.
When you wear your bathing suit out at night with jeans, have a few drinks, then come home and eat chips and salsa, in said bathing suit, whilst dancing… how can you not Snap it? 🙂
The lace up suit above is from Victoria’s Secret.
Yandy sent me this 3-piece bikini with “jacket” as well… the jacket could be used as a rash guard, but really just protects your arms and chest.
This top is from Target and the bottoms are by Vix {as seen above}
Top is by Victoria’s Secret, bottoms by Billabong.
This leopard print bikini is also from Target, and I’ve shared it on Twitter and Facebook, so you may have seen it already.
Happy Hump Day Lovecats!

Also note, I’m very careful with my sunning… I like to do a gradual tanning, unless I’m on the lake, spending only about 15-20 minutes on each side, and I generally cover my face.
