What really began a few years ago (check out my DIY Spiky Sport sandals – I think they need a fresh makeover) is finally making its way back to the mainstream and after the minimalist phase, I have to say, I’m kind of loving it. Although part of me feels like this trend conjures up all the Vegas and Miami grandma vibes, but it may not be a bad thing. Hell, if we can accept the 90s Dad Sneaker trend, we can certainly accept foxy grandma, can’t we? 
The price point is all over the place from designer dandies over $500 to fast fashion favorites under $50. I think I’d fall somewhere in between, but maybe this is really calling for a DIY. I think maybe yes. But until then, here are a few of my faves for inspo and possible shopping…
