Once they realize I’m working, and not playing with them and that there’s no room for them to both sit up at my desk with me, they finally settle and rest on the floor next to my desk… as close to each other as possible. I love these Bobes.
My nearly finished Jude Law… it’s crazy that some pieces take a week to finish and others only take a few days. This one seemed to take forever. I loved the process until I got to the hands and then I was like Alright, I think I’ve had enough for now.
I was super happy with the way his eyes and nose turned out and the freckles on his nose especially. My new art supplies are far superior to the ones I’d been using from the ’60s… though they were my grandpa’s and there was something fun about that, you just cannot beat new art supplies.
Here’s a closeup of his eyes a few days before… not quite done, but close.
Make this oatmeal cake for breakfast or dessert…. yummmm.
Last week’s crop top and jeans outfit
Oh man, when they were learning how to take the stairs, it was just about the cutest thing ever.
In love with these gorgeous collages by visual artist Rocio Montoya
A ’90s flashback on Throwback Thursday to short hair, chokers, tongue rings, and being young. The guy in the background was one of my roommates at the time, ironically named Randy 🙂
Another throwback to my days at the art gallery… when I’d take my outfit photos with my little digital camera and timer before work. The running back and forth to set up the shot and the timer was just part of the fun, unless I got caught, then I was embarrassed, lol. In some ways it was easier, though the photos were not nearly as good artistically, they captured something I can’t really capture anymore.

A year later, they FINALLY accept that the faux bear rug is a bed for them to sleep on. These Bobes.
I found this shot of Delilah on the lakeshore from last July and had to share… this is why I have such a hard time deleting photos from my phone. Even though I save them elsewhere, there are little gems hidden in the corners that I don’t know about and then get a nice surprise and memory when I find them.
