Come spring I will finally be able to finish the exterior of this cute A-frame but until then, I’m pretty much snowed in. This was actually last week… or was it the week before? I can’t remember, but it was when the snow was still beautiful and glistening in the sun, making everything look magical (although still pretty much a nightmare simply because there was just so much)… and now, it’s all still there, but hardened into icebergs covered in dirt that we now just wait to melt. Luckily though it’s supposed to get warm next week! I’m so excited for a little warmth (to be able to roller skate more, obviously)… it’s going to be in the ’60s and I can’t even believe this LA woman thinks that 60 degrees is WARM… ahahahahah.
Anyway… just taking the easy oversized sweat suit look out of the house because paired with a camel coat, it’s suddenly chic… kind of, lol. Mostly, it’s comfortable and warm. And sometimes that’s all I want in my day.
And I know I just wore sweats in my last outfit post, but that was different, I was dressed specifically for skating in freezing temps and I wore Chad’s sweats because they’re fleece-lined and so warm.
And well… some days I just want to wear sweats, but cute sweats… which reminds me of the days (way back in the early 2000’s) where I’d literally throw on my Juicy sweatsuits EVERY DAMN DAY with UGGs or my checkered Vans and man those just made getting dressed so easy, didn’t they? I mean, for the time, they looked cute no matter what. And I’ve noted they’re trying to make a comeback… I think Paris Hilton really never stopped wearing hers… and actually, I probably have a few sets somewhere AND if the elastic is still good I’ll surely be wearing them.
And yeah, I just brought my Panton chair right outside to shoot in the snow… and it made me giggle… and then someone drove up and stopped and stared for a moment… and then they asked me if I was a realtor. I simply said no without any other explanation… which made me giggle MORE!
Just sitting here waiting for the snow to melt 😉
