Title: lyrics from Grease “The One That I Want”

Honestly, I didn’t really reference Danny & Sandy while getting ready, it was when I was prepping this post that the song randomly played on my itunes radio that I realized I had channeled a little bit of both of the characters and it made me giggle.

I wore this last week out running errands and to dinner with the husband. It’s simple. Casual. Comfy and chic. It’s so funny that I love these old school penny loafers so much… they were the first shoes I bought to go with my school uniform when I was a freshman in high school because the uniform guidebook said they were our only option and I hated them then. I realized that rule was not taken as seriously as I had thought once I got to school that day and soon after got a new pair of school shoes. But I love the old classic look they have now.

How amazing are those loafers and the jacket! You look so warm and cozy, it makes me miss winter! I can’t wait for winter to roll around here in a few months 🙂

OMGosh, Love that outfit! Love the penny loafers…….very nicely buffed leather, too. About your swollen ankle………have you tried those cold gel packs……wrap one on your ankle for only a few minutes at a time, with any type of soft cloth between your ankle and the gel pack. I have ankle problems, and the gel packs seem to work. Do not keep them on for long periods of time, though; and as I said, not directly on your ankle. Wishing you well.
