Ugh. …I just want to cry right now. I’ve had a ridiculous mucousy cough for about three weeks now. A cough that feels like it’s either the beginning or the end of a cold …but the only other symptoms I’ve had are a bit of a stuffy/runny nose …and anxiety. Last night before bed I coughed up a little blood …a little pink blood …AND FLIPPED OUT. I WAS SERIOUSLY SHAKING IN FEAR.
I tried to sleep sitting up as to prevent any coughing which has left me unbelievably tired and anxious. Fun times. When I finally got the doctor on the phone this morning she asked me if I had taken anything for the cough yet, no …and if I had any other symptoms, no …then told me to go get some Robitussin for the cough. No chest x-rays? No doctor visit? Really? I felt better …but still shaken.
I sadly have not done this amazing dress justice ..as I actually feel like a ballerina in it. It’s one of those wrap dresses you can wear a gazillion ways and is so comfy on a day like today when I feel less than 100%
