A few weeks ago we stopped into Littlebear Bottleshop up on the historic Rim of the World Highway in Sky Forest, directly behind The Parlour Room, right across the street from Basecamp and Evergreen, across the highway from Lou Eddies Pizza and Rosalia’s Mexican restaurant and on the way to Skypark…
I just love how much this little area (and really the entire mountain) has expanded in the last few years!
When I moved up here, Lou Eddie’s had just opened, Rosalia’s was Hortencias (which is now located at the Cliffhanger), there were a few little antique shops and that’s about it. Now, it’s booming with life, fabulous businesses and friendly owners.
Inspired by Lake Arrowhead’s original name, Littlebear Bottleshop is a hand-sold liquor shop, beer stop, and fine wine destination, finely curated by Nathan Hazard. Littlebear believes in offering something for everybody, imbuing warm hospitality and engagement through product education. They have literally EVERYTHING and anything you can imagine and so much more. Littlebear is also a great spot if you’re looking for gifts!

Steeped in history, the San Bernardino mountains are historically the playground of tinseltown’s elite.
I love the way Nathan created a modern yet mountain vibe with the decor. Check out @littlebearbottleshop on Instagram to see the renovation and design process!
We picked up these lo-fi grapefruit spritz‘s, which are SUPER YUMMY, a banana flask for Chad 🙂 and the New York seltzer, which I haven’t seen since I was a kid… SO FUN!! Definitely stop by when you’re on the mountain!
Happy Thursday Lovecats!
