I don’t handle stress very well at all. Maybe nobody does… maybe we’re not supposed to… but I’ve had a bit of a crazy hectic and stressful week and if you’re a daily reader, you may have noticed I’ve only posted here a few times instead of daily, which is generally a sign that something is a bit off.
The point is, I’m stressed out and now because of it, I’ve come down with a little cold on top of everything else… which stresses me out even more. Ugh. I know, I know, there are worse things, and horrible things happening in the world, but when it comes to stress, I like to look ahead and do everything possible to eliminate it before it’s a problem, so when things pop up out of nowhere or build up, I FREAK OUT.
But it’s Friday and all is well with the Universe again and I can sleep well knowing just that…
I was on Snapchat the other night and swiping through Sweet‘s snap story and found these great micro-meditation techniques by Amy Karafin: How to Get Out of Your Head for Two Seconds to help get through the day. I’m all about mediation, but sometimes when I need it most, I’m the worst at actually doing it, so having these little quickie meditations on hand, is a big help… and I thought just maybe, they’d be helpful to you as well.

ps. I checked Sweet.com for this post for two days and found nothing… now that I’m ready to finally share it, I see it there too… didn’t mean to duplicate it… just was sharing some great meditation advice for destressing 😉
Happy Friday Lovecats!

I really loved reading these! I’ve been going through a terrible heartbreak and am desperate for anything that will help the pain and get me out of my own head for even just a few seconds.
Thanks again Maegan.

Amazing tips on how to stress out! We all live a crazy, hectic life and should be able to take better care of our minds.
