Let the Wedding Stuff begin…
As I said in my engagement announcement, there has been little (to no) wedding planning as of yet. We don’t have a date set, though we’re thinking late summer… but it could be late NEXT summer, it’s that up in the air still. We have an idea about where we want the ceremony, but haven’t booked anything as of yet. Literally NO arrangements have been made.
However, perusing Pinterest and the internet for wedding inspo has become wildly amusing and one of the first things I happened upon (besides scrolling through hundreds of gorgeous gowns, of course) were these beautiful velvet ring boxes from the Mrs. Box, which are available in a multitude of gorgeous colors.
I have no real need for a beautiful velvet box for my ring, but I certainly want one, because well, they’re just really pretty, however, they are not really budget friendly. You can also customize them by having the tops engraved in either metal (gold, silver or rose gold), enamel or in velvet with a monogram design or simple lettering.
I really like the beveled style with two slots, one for an engagement ring and one for a wedding band or for two wedding bands, or to simply store vintage heirlooms handed down from generations and I think they’d make great gifts too. They’re obviously beautiful for photographing as well and would be handy for wedding photographers to keep as props, which I’m sure they already probably know and/or have available, but you never know.
