My cousin’s wedding is officially two weeks away {eeek!} and the beautiful bride-to-be {above} wanted a low-key bachelorette party and we all decided on a Murder Mystery Dinner at Matteo’s in West LA. I was relieved to say the least– because a trip to Vegas right now is just too much for this busy woman to handle. So all the ladies met at our place first to sip sparkling drinks and catch up before the big murder.
The thing about Kelley is she reunites friends… and yet again, her wedding has reunited many of us high school bffs and I can’t thank her enough. There’s something so comfortable about hanging out with girls you knew when you were 16, it’s just easy and we had such a fantastic time before and during the dinner.
My husband is becoming a superb photographer and randomly picks up the camera to take candids quite often now and I love him for it… if only he could get the lighting right, he’d go from intern to paid assistant 😉
Here are some of the shots he took from the night… CLICK HERE to see what I wore

My Nikkor prime lens couldn’t fit us all in one shot…
And
since it’s much more practical and fun, I only used my iPhone for photos at the dinner and Instagram, of course… click to enlarge.

Happy Monday!

That’s exactly what we did for my cousin’s bachelorette party (in Boston though!)! It is so much fun! It is a nice shake up from the normal crazy parties to just have a low key get together!

OMG stop. A murder mystery bachelorette party? How did you get so amazing? That is seriously the best idea I’ve ever heard.
You have absolutely gorgeous friends, which is not at all surprising. You look like you had a great time, and props to your husband for getting so good at photography. The couple that blogs together… stays together 🙂
