When I was a tween in the 80’s my mom had a lavender, almost transparent apple pendant dangling from her neck. She mostly wore it with her lavender dress and rainbow wedges. I’m pretty sure she still has it and I think it may have been one of her favorites …which is why I haven’t asked her for it 😉 …yet.
So last week gilt.com had a Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry sale …and while they had apples {above}, I ended up purchasing a little green pear instead.
…maybe because I needed a little something green …or maybe because I’m secretly hoping one day my mom will give me her little purple apple necklace …like she gives me everything else! I do love that first Tiffany’s version though …I mean, who doesn’t love Tiffany’s?
