California Dreamin’ // ’70s + ’90s Summer Style Inspo

It’s snowing here right now IN MAY and I’m dreaming of warm summer nights and days on the lake. Just a few days ago I was in my bikini working on my tan and now I’m in snow boots. California is crazy like that… and I Love it.

This fun editorial from Crap Eyewear, “Caliente Tropics Part II,” popped up in my inbox today and the ’70s/’90s retro vibes reminded me of everything my 18-21 year old self was about, and I smiled.

Of all the time we spend resisting “getting old” and worrying about aging, there are so many wonderful things about life we miss along the way. There’s no part of me that would go back in time, as I have a mind that always believes the best is yet to come, but a little walk down memory lane makes me grateful to have lived so many lives, in so many years, and to see it all come back around again and again, is fun on so many levels.
