All my shit came out blurry today. Annoying. I must have had the camera settings off. It’s fine though because today sucks and I look and feel just as shitty as the photos turned out.

I wish I was in a better mood actually because my niece was born this morning at 3:50am …but I haven’t had a chance to see her yet and it’s making me sad. I have to wait until 3pm and it’s killing me. Just on the verge of tears. What am I saying, on the verge? . . . my eyeballs are swimming in pools of water just waiting for me to squint them all out onto my cheeks.

Thanks to this lovely lady and twitter, I got a glimpse of the little bundle of joy when I got to work. And if you don’t follow me on twitter, here’s a glance for yourself . . .

I want to hug you. I could tell you you look great (and you do). But that’s not what you want. I’m sorry that the thing you want is not yours right now.

I can’t tell you when it’ll happen. I can tell you that you need to let the sadness and pain you’re feeling just run its course. Don’t hide it or try to run away from it. Sometimes there are no words to express what lies beneath.

What lies beneath you is a great woman. I’m sorry life is being selfish with you. I’m sitting at my desk (near LAX my office is) sending you virtual hugs (in a totally non-creepy kinda way).

    Congrats on the new niece!

One of my sisters, Jennifer, started trying to have a baby about five years ago and another one, Meagan, about three years ago. After one miscarriage Megan finally gave birth to her first in mid August. While Jennifer loves being an aunt it’s been really hard for her too and she feels bad for feeling bad when she thinks she should only be happy for Meagan.

While I don’t have any kids and don’t want to have any, I just wanted to say you are not alone and I hope you, Jennifer, and any other women out there who truly want a baby and haven’t been so blessed yet ARE blessed with a child soon.

    Sweet Maegan!
Don’t be so hard to yourself!
everytime you think you cannot have a baby (YET! your pushing it away from you!
please, don’t let sadness consume your heart, even for a moment!
Be a positive person, try hard to do it,and positive things will come to you!that’s completely cliche and true!
I know you’ll have your beautiful baby with wonderful blue eyes, but there’s a certain time for this.
Believe that this time is coming and it will come indeed!
    also,your outfit look gorgeous!
    take care!
    cheers from braziL!

I was showing your blog to one of my friends and it was some post that you had on some old Gap trouser pants and she literally was about to go on a hunt for those pants when I had to point out 2 very crucial things to her: 1) those pants were old and definitely not going to be in any Gap currently 2) that they look that amazing because of the woman wearing them [and this is no offense to my friend who is quite pretty, she does not have legs like you my dear, her’s are quite thin] nevertheless, you remain iconic and an inspiration.

Oh and I have faith that you’ll have your own baby one day. : ) I keep my fingers crossed for you everyday. And if you don’t mind waiting another 10 years, I will surely give you one of mine, just as long as you don’t mind some brown sugar. Hugs.

The blazer is off the hook awesome. So great – makes me wish I had the kind of shoulders that could wear that cut.

I’m not going to sympathize with you and this comment may not be appreciated. I read your blog religiously and do think you’re fabulous, but maybe you should be appreciative of what you DO have. You don’t have a baby, but you wake up to a man who loves you every morning. Not everyone is so fortunate.

As a pregnant woman I need you to hurry up and get preggers so you can instill some sense of fashion in me… 🙂 I Have so much faith in you and I have a feeling before you know it you will also have a little one. I am 34 and this is my second and last child… and let me tell you… being pregnant is not that great – sickness and fatness and all kinds of weird sensations but the end result well let’s just say it’s worth sacrificing your body and mind for 10 months. Here’s good luck dust to you may you become preggie soon!!!
