EEEK! I got tired of waiting for the sun to shine through the gallery windows this morning so I ran outside and set the camera on top of a trash can to snap my shots. And even though they are still a bit dark/red/grainy …I LOVE THEM! Luckily there was no one out there while I was doing it but I was SO AFRAID someone was going to come out and catch me. So embarrassing!
What I’m Wearing
* Vintage polka-dot ruffle dress …seen here
* Vintage Ralph Lauren plaid linen button down …seen here
* Jessica Simpson zip booties …seen here
* Silver hearts/hoops earrings from the Farmers Market
* Tiffany & Co. silver lock necklace and charm bracelet
* Black flower tied on wrist {Thanks Droll Girl}
* Chanel Sunglasses
* Hair: wet ..just clipped in place
Before I completely committed to this outfit this morning I yelled for my husband …and from the top of the stairs asked him if this outfit was too young. To which he replied “You’re only 33” …which I suppose was the perfect answer no matter how you look at it 😉
honey my heart
super cute outfit! i love how you accessorized it.

Nice location – love how fresh you look in the plaid too!
By the way, I’ve added new stock to my store, come check it out 🙂

Great pattern mixing! I think all of us have done the quicky public photo shoots to try and get better pics…I’m usually snooping around the office terrace making sure I’m outside of an empty office so no one spots me through their windows!
Leigh
I love the outdoor shots.. the outfit is so great the dress with the plaid..LOVE
I also know what you mean, I have done that before setting my camera on some street on the hood of my car and tried to act like nothing going on here and hope no one comes out of the buildings..LOL love it. I say do it more often!!

Oh yes! outdoor shots are always so much nicer! i am affraid i will get caught too, so i never go outside to take my photo shots, someone, and more than one person will definitely think i am crazy, not to mention how embarrased i would be if i got caught? haha.
Your husband definitely had the right answer, “You are ONLY 33” and you should always “ONLY” be whatever age. In my mind, i am still 19, will always be that age, no matter what. It doesn’t mean that i am going to act like a 19 y/o, more like always feel young and fresh like that, i refuse to feel old, that is a label that was not made for me.
You look gorgeous!
What camera do you use by the way, if you dont mind me asking?

Oh Wow, very daring ! No risk, no reward.. I guess 🙂 I think that you’re one of the rare people who can pull this off .. plaid and polka dots are not easy to mix, you do it beautifully!
Your husband’s totally right, kuddos to him for that reply!

That shirt brings back memories. In middle school, I had one with almost the exact same print. I also got a horse in Grade 5 and thought I was seriously a cowgirl, so unfortunately I paired my awesome shirt with tragedies like tapered pleated jeans and bolo ties (sp?) Seeing your pictures kind of makes me wish I still had it!

n’awr your hubby sounds sweet.
