Completely Gratuitous Outfit Post

{from the iMac photo booth}

{it is so hard to get shots in the gallery when it’s overcast …and people are standing just outside …staring.}

What I’m Wearing
* Berry Satin dress: Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent … …seen here {I love this dress but it wrinkles very easily}
* American Apparel shiny leggings
* Vintage black leather and gold clasp belt
* Gold danglies …the Farmers Market
* Boutique 9 Twyla Pump
* Vintage blazer …seen here

Two things happen after writing/posting about what’s really bothering me: 1. I start to feel better after getting it out and 2. After reading the words I can’t help but gain new perspective. It’s therapy. All of your wonderful comments are just icing. Thank you so much for your kind words and for anyone struggling with the same issues, I feel ya. It’s hard. It’s heartbreaking. But things could be a lot worse I suppose.

In other news: I feel like I’m dressed for Fall already. Having boredom issues with the summer wardrobe.

{psst. It’s Droll Girl’s birthday today …go wish her a happy one!}

    Two things:

    – Writing is the BEST therapy. When a terrible ex of mine dumped me in a bad, bad way, I wrote a LONG letter to him that I never sent. I never showed it to anyone. But boy did it make me feel better.

    Hi Maegan,

    I read your last post and it made me cry. I’m so sorry to hear about what you’ve been going through. I have two things to say. One I was adopted and have had a pretty wonderful life so far. Second there is nothing wrong with you for not accepting this biological obstacle. I have lots of friends who thought they couldn’t have children and when they finally accepted it (and it took them a long time) they started adoption proceedings and most of them also got pregnant – no lie. The body is mysterious sometimes. It’s okay to be upset by this unfair state of things. But once you are ready to let go of it and just move ahead maybe there will be some clarity. Hugs!
