If you follow any of my social media outlets or saw Sunday’s Instagram recap, you probably already know it snowed in these here parts on Friday and left us with a blanket of gorgeousness for the day… SNOW IN MAY… IN CALIFORNIA!!! I was excited, clearly… I think we all were actually, because it’s such a rarity.
The sun was so bright against all the white snow, I couldn’t keep my eyes from squinting and watering and by Saturday morning, much of it was gone. Today it’s warm enough for shorts and t-shirts, and that’s just crazy… and amazing. I’d like to blame it all on climate change and global warming but I’m not 100% sure it’s the culprit… While I do in fact believe all that to be true, the beauty of California is that things like this happen and have happened in the past… the near past and the days of yore, to quote Phoebe from friends. Yes, we are most definitely in a drought and so thankful when we get any moisture in any form at any time of the year. And it’s just so much fun too.
I wore this fun coat and these adorable boots a few weeks ago with a little dress and crazy curls because… Spring.
