I keep a folder on my desktop at work and at home called “Design Inspiration” and any time I find something I like, I drop it in. I’m sure I’m not alone. I was just going through it this morning and here are some of my faves that may be relevant to decorating my new place. With that in mind, I usually let the house or particular room determine the design of the space preventing conflicting ideas but details are key.
* Unfortunately I don’t have ref links but if you see something that’s yours, please let me know and I’ll link to you.

I do the same thing… I have keepsake boxes filled with ideas. I am so loving the pink door. Wonder if my landlord would mind if I painted the door of his brownstone?

these are absolutely stunning spaces! (whenever decorating a new home, i always find that placing our bathtub in a large common living area allows for a good focal point.)

I love to look but unfortunately get too overwhelmed to actually use it in my own home.
I admire people who can take random things from pictures & put it all together to make it there own.

It’s always the best way to speak your style aesthetic, and replay it for when you are trying to share you plan. I use a three ring binder with plastic sleeves, for easy access.
The trick is to take all our wishful ideas and find a way to execute them in our reality space.
I have some of those same tear sheets, including the pink front door!

LOVE THE DECOR STYLES……….MANY OF US CAN GET SIMILAR LOOKS IN MANY PRICE RANGES! IT IS THE LOOK AND “FEEL” OF A ROOM THAT IS IMPORTANT. ALSO, NOT TOO MUCH CLUTTER, WHICH I LOVE.

When growing up, we lived in an all-white house. And I swore to myself I would surround myself with colour when I was an adult. As an adult, I am finding myself completely attracted to white!! Mother truly does know best 🙂 Thanks for the beautiful and inspirational shots.
Debra
Those were great…although in the fourth row the pretty girl is nice but as a dining room accessory she may make it awkward to eat dinner at that table….. =P
Ariana @Artarra
Thank you very much for sharing these pictures. They inspire me to change my apartment a little bit – I love this vintage style!
