Music Festival Mainstream: 60’s Flower Child meets 70’s Bohemian meets 90’s Grunge… and I’m in love.

The only time I really find myself wishing I were younger, is when I feel too old to wear certain styles. Yes I was part of the original 90’s grunge era, and it was fun, but this new grungy style mix, and what I’m referring to as Music Festival Mainstream: 60’s Flower Child meets 70’s Bohemian meets 90’s Grunge, is an even more fun brew of three great decades all packed into one. They’ve gone and made it fresh again and I can’t help but want to wear it all at once.But alas, I’m nearly an old maid, and would have to re-envision these looks to suit my stature in this term of my life ne’er I look like a total slob. I’d have to make them age appropriate, or I’ll look like a bum.

* * * I wish I was about 19 at the moment.

A few rock goddesses held strong to their Bohemian roots, like Stevie Nicks and Cher, and still rock the style pretty well, but {and I hate to say this, but I’m sure they’d agree} not as fabulously as they did back in their early days.
