My Jeans and White T Challenge has been over for a few months now but it’s just such a great go-to outfit that works so often, I couldn’t resist wearing it last Saturday for my very busy day. That morning, I had a shoot with a model for my book {which I styled & photographed} and left with straight hair… then downtown to another shoot, where I was the model {details to come, though I mentioned it here}. When I returned home, still in full hair and makeup, I had my husband take my outfit shots for this post before leaving for a quick bite & then more work.

BUT How HUGE IS THIS BUN!??! I love it – – though my husband told me it was so big that it looked like a hair hat, lol! Erica from ten. eleven. makeup used a sock to create this ginormous bun on the very top of my head and I was actually surprised by how weightless it was given the heaviness of my hair and a rolled up sock underneath it all. I’ve been asked so many times to do a sock bun tutorial but haven’t for two reasons: 1. I have so much hair that I don’t really need the help and 2. So many others have already done tutorials on it, I figured it was unnecessary. However, having it actually done to my hair, I can see the benefits of it now. In the coming Summer months, I’ll hopefully be doing a few hair tutorials because I’ll finally have some free time {yay!} so if you’d like me to do one for this, just let me know and I will.
