Our stay at the Wynn in Vegas

wynn hotel and casino in vegas+encore and wynn buildings

Since my dad moved to Vegas when I was about 15 and my husband went to UNLV, we both have had a long-standing relationship with Sin City …and being that it’s only about a 3.5 hour drive from LA, it’s a quick and easy way to go on a little vacay and live it up for a few days.

We don’t care for gambling other than maybe a little video poker while sipping drinks at the bar, so the main three reasons we go to Vegas are: the hotel suites, the shopping, and the sex uh, food. We save up just so that we can act like {semi} high-rollers while we’re there, spending and splurging on whatever our hearts desire, and let me tell you, it is fu-un.

We stayed at the Wynn in the Tower Suites which had it’s own check-in & valet in a Salon Suite which was 1900 sq ft. {larger than our house} and overlooked the very awesome forest wall {hiding the Fashion Show Mall} that lit up magically and Treasure Island which had a fireworks show every night. The view from our near-panoramic windows was absolutely insane.

The flowers and ceiling displays are so pretty at the Wynn which were really my favorite part {besides the shopping}. I also loved the Chinese inspired decor and just the overall luxe feeling the Wynn has. The service is also impeccable …I would highly recommend it. And although the husband and I choose a different hotel to stay in and review each time we go, it’s going to be a difficult choice next time because we both loved the Wynn so much. Maybe the Encore, next time?

Clearly I’ve taken a bazillion photos and will try to edit them down and intersperse them into my regular outfit and diy posts for the coming week. Just an FYI I suppose 😉 Hope your Sunday was relaxing.

I love that photo of you two through the mirror – so cute! I hope I get to experience Vegas some day, but that’s kind of hard being on the complete opposite coast

How fun Maegan! Glad you guys got away, it does wonder for your “food” life! I love that pic of you guys laying down…very cool.

We just had a free VIP weekend. so cool to get to do things without spending a dime.

I have to say, date nights & getaways are a MUST for marriages!

One of the perks to living in CA is clearly the proximity to Vegas. I have never stayed at the Wynn, but my favorite hotel of the ones I have stayed in is the Palazzo. Your suite sounds enormous! Glad you had a nice time.

OH. Missing Vegas now! We were there for a weekend as part of a bigger trip and as I’m from London it’s a bigger deal to be there… It was great to chill out and lap up the luxury. We were at the Venetian which was great, visited the Wynn – those floral displays are crazy! I had a little win there and wanted to gamble it all away to try and win big to spend in the shops! But the other half was being sensible.

It’s a great place to just chillax. I’m jealous you live so close! (but am just jealous you live in LA basically. Love it there! The weatherrrr!)

Anyway glad you had fun. x
