Online shopping boutiques have really stepped up their game in the last few years, becoming more like magazines than just shopping destinations, offering inspirational looks and fashion editorials for visual eye candy ~ and I just love it.
I love flipping through Shopbop’s Lookbooks, Luisaviaroma’s Diary, Barney’s The Window, and Nasty Gal’s lookbooks for fashion editorials you don’t get anywhere else. Are they just trying to sell clothes and shoes and accessories? Sure, but this is what print magazines have been doing for decades and I find that now that I can see most of what’s in my current print issue online, I’m making less and less time for actual page flipping and more time for quick swiping. Which is a good thing really, not only for environmental issues, but for personal reasons, since I hoard magazines and cannot seem to ever throw one away. Now I don’t have to make the decision to toss or to save, I can just pin the looks I love rather than have them take up any more space in my already crowded office/studio.
Unleash your wild side and run with the pack. In primal prints and savagely-cool flora, adventure will find you.
Shop the pieces from the looks… or get inspired!
