Sew Magazine recently featured my easy lace sleeve DIY tutorial in their February issue, and it’s the perfect DIY for Spring/Summer {but it’s barely even Winter!!} or even updating your boring loungewear or pajamas with a little more soft, feminine, and romantic feel. I used vintage lace I found at a thrift shop for mine, but any lace will do. Get creative!

NOTE: I have about two years worth of magazine features that I keep in a folder on my desktop but have yet to post here on the blog. My reasoning for not posting them was somewhere in the middle of lazy meets not wanting to feel like I’m bragging. However, now my “press” page is ridiculously outdated because of it and well, that’s just not good for business. Why I feel like I need to explain everything rather than just doing it, is beyond me, but you know. So anyway, I thought I’d start posting them again this year and then work my way back through the years, post-dating so they won’t show up as new posts…

Keep “bragging”……….Even though I’m a few years older than you are, I miss the days that I used to sew many outfits, copying my oldest sister’s outfits that she often wore from copying (similar looks) of “That Girl” Marlo Thomas’ outfits. (I used to pretend that I was Marlo Thomas!) . . . . Anyway, you aren’t “bragging”, you are inspiring us to enjoy a bit of creativity in our lives.

Beautiful detail work! The lace really compliments any article of clothing.
