At the beginning of last month (October), after stopping at the farmer’s market in Twin Peaks, Michelle and I took a little drive to Running Springs to check out a new little shop that just opened up called Hilltop Haus and it did not disappoint!
I don’t go to Running Springs often, but it’s another cute mountain town just minutes past Skypark Santa’s Village (where the roller rink is) and heading towards Big Bear. Depending on where you are in Lake Arrowhead, it could be a 10-15 minute drive, and it’s a beautiful drive at that.
I’m not too familiar with the area, but when we turned onto the quiet street and drove under a little bridge (I think), Hilltop Haus was just sitting there beckoning us to come in. It is adorable inside and out and Heather, the owner, is as sweet as can be.
Michelle and I wandered around and touched just about everything we could get our hands on. It’s filled with adorable and thoughtful home decor and perfect gifts for any occasion. As you can see in the photos, it’s stocked with seasonal items as well as “anytime” gifts and I’m guessing by now it’s filled to the brim with holiday decor and cute Christmas gifts and I can’t wait to go back and check out what’s in store.
I fell for a cute dog puzzle (the Frenchie stole my heart, obviously), a few fuzzy pumpkins for fall and the most amazing lip scrub I’ve ever smelled or tasted! It’s got to be made with actual sugar… it’s SO GOO! I’ll share it in a beauty post because I’ve got a few favorites I’m loving at the moment. And as for Hilltop Haus, I’ll certainly be heading back soon for some holiday shopping.
