The Dreams in Which I’m Dying are the Best I’ve Ever Had

What I’m Wearing…

* Le Skinny jeans by FRAME
* Cashmere oversized cozy turtleneck sweater by Jigsaw London
* Vintage military coat… similar coat at Asos
* Mini ‘Pashli’ bag in ink by 3.1 Phillip Lim
* Leopard sneakers from Target

* Hair: low, loose ponytail with a vintage chiffon bow clip/barrette from the ’80s {untied}

* Title: lyrics from Tears for Fears ‘Mad World’… a great song, a dramatic video.

It’s fun playing around with new hairstyles lately since it’s been so long since I’ve had anything but long layers, the bangs and face shag are suddenly making regular hairstyles look super cute. I do happen to get annoyed feeling the hairs on my forehead by the end of each day and end up clipping them up, but I have to say, they are super easy to style and unless I use my curling iron on them too much {as I did yesterday, frizzing out the ends} they pretty much do what I want them to do. I’ve had bangs in the past, but I’m pretty sure I always cut them myself, and never did it correctly, which is why they never did what I wanted them to do. I think I can maybe give them a snip snip now if I need to, but I STRONGLY SUGGEST if you’re getting bangs/fringe for the first time, you should get it done by a stylist. There’s a specific way to cut these hairs, and when it’s done right, it makes having them a pleasure.

Yes, I just talked THAT MUCH about hair 🙂

My sweater has fuzzed all over my jacket…
