Sometimes people appear in your life so unexpectedly and without warning that even if you tried to turn and walk away, as if by accident, you couldn’t. And somehow you find that all the things you’ve been missing are right in front of you, healing you, un-breaking you, offering a kind of sweet relief from all that you thought you knew and were. And all that you thought you wanted was simply your past wrapped up in a new disguise… and looking back, you can only feel grateful that the universe had a better plan for you, because what you thought you wanted had nothing to do with what you actually needed.
Because sometimes knowing that you deserve better and actively allowing better to arrive into you life, are opposing forces within… but if you can open even just a tiny space for it to creep in, it fills you up entirely and it’s beautiful in a way you could never even imagine.
