What I’m Wearing…
* Plaid maxi dress with ruffled top by Free People
* Old black jersey turtleneck worn under
* Vintage necklace was my grandma’s
* Crocs duck boots from last year… I’ll be wearing these for years to come.
This is what I wore on Christmas day… though mostly, I was in cozy socks and not in boots, because we stayed in all day. My family drove up for the day and even though I promised them a white Christmas and the snow had mostly melted away when they arrived, we still had a lovely time. I’ve been meaning to do a holiday recap with decor as well, but just haven’t had a chance. Maybe tomorrow? Hopefully…
You can see a bit of this fun dress here with my Black Flower Ribbons DIY – and I actually like it better with those boots… but there’s something fun about the big snow boots emerging from the hemline. They’re just so unexpected, but I do feel like I need a big shearling overcoat thrown over my shoulders to complete the look.
