What I’m Wearing…
* Oversized cozy sweater by UNIF
* Cropped mock turtleneck top worn under {see it with my DIY Pom Pom jeans -wherein I also use a Janet Jackson song to title my post, lol -total coincidence if I may add}
* Black body con skirt by Norma Kamali
* Teal coat by BB Dakota
* Gray ribbed tights… I’ve had since high school in the actual ’90s
* Black ‘Rocco’ bag by Alexander Wang
* Huge cross earrings are old
* Black boots from Target
* Title: lyrics from Janet Jackson ‘When I Think of You’… give this video a watch it you’ve never seen it, lol.
This is a sort of mix of ’80s meets ’90s and I kind of love it. I specifically remember wearing the exact same thing back in those eras… and it seems like an ageless and easy to pull off look for any age, so there’s that. I don’t generally wear heeled boots or heeled anything in the snow, but these babies are tough and have a rugged sole. Still, the amount of walking in actual snow here was minimal.
I have a hair appointment this afternoon and am hoping to go for this… but we’ll see, I may just say do what you always do and call it day. How boring though 😉
And here are far too many photos because I have an editing problem.

Happy Tuesday Lovecats!

Hey Maegan – I’ve read your blog for several years now and never left a comment. You look fantastic and I feel your move to the mountain has elevated your style and given you a whole new world of fashion to play with!
I’m doing a no-buy 2015, wherein I’m not purchasing anything new (aside from essentials like socks/undies/shoes if they wear out) and a large part of this will be repurposing my existing wardrobe. I love your DIYs and was hoping you would post more repurpose pieces – T-shirt cutting, upcycling an old sweater, etc! Not a requirement just a request from a loyal follower!
That being said, all the best to you and Pep this new year, best of luck with your hair appointment and can’t wait to see what 2015 brings you and your fur family. Thanks for the years of dedication to blogging!
