I Don’t Regret Falling for Your Fool’s Gold

gold mesh dress

What I’m Wearing…

* Vintage gold mesh dress {thrifted ages ago, pretty sure it’s from the ’90s – feels a hint ’70s}
* Vintage blazer with beaded lapels {also seen here –with white dress and oxfords, here-with pink jeans, and here in 2009 with- leopard print}
* Altuzarra for Target ankle boots
* Black beaded earrings… see them better here and here… similar black drop earrings by Shay Accessories
* Vintage{ish} quilted Chanel bucket bag {New to me!} found at Bag Borrow or Steal the leather is SO SOFT it’s incredible.

* Title: lyrics from One Direction/FOUR ‘Fools Gold’ – yup, still obsessed with this album ~ Read about my 1D Obsession here.

I wore this a few weeks ago before it snowed, when it was a touch warmer and I didn’t need to wear ten layers and two pairs of socks like I do now. And as much as I do actually love this outfit, I’m enjoying all the layers and the snow and love looking out all the windows that line our living room because it feels like we live in an actual snow globe. I wasn’t sure I was in love with the ankle boots with the length of this dress, but everything else felt too flimsy. The look needed some balance at the bottom, so they worked but they’re maybe not the most flattering. Either way, I still loved the look.
