What I’m Wearing…

* Cashmere oversized sweater in taupe by Jigsaw London {a few years old but still a fave!}
* Taupe skinny jeans by J Brand {seen here with black}
* Taupe knit hat by Bop Basics
* Vintage Eddie Bauer army green parka {see it here last winter}
* Navy mini Pashli bag by 3.1 Phillip Lim
* Square tortoise sunglasses by Stella McCartney
* Lace up Duck Boots by Crocs {I finally broke out the new edition of the Crocs duck boots and I love them just as much as last season’s which you can see here. They’re slimmer and have less fur, but are still completely fur lined. They come in black too}

* Title: lyrics from Miley Cyrus “4×4”

Taupe on taupe on taupe… I’m kind of loving monochromatic looks for winter, though it’s not completely one-hued, since I’ve added the army green, navy, and the boots. Still though, a fun option… I wore this over the weekend to do a little holiday shopping with my mom and fell in love with these newer duck boots because they’re a bit less bulky. I’ll still wear last year’s duck boots for long treks in the snow, but these are really great for running errands in the snow, etc.

I’m still not completely “okay” with the fact that I’ve stopped my 30 Days of DIY, but I just don’t have the time at the moment. I’m sure you’re all just as ridiculously busy and equally stressed for the holiday, so you understand, it’s just… I hate not completing what I’ve started. So I’m not sure when, but maybe after Christmas I’ll finish. Maybe it will give me nice creative motivation for January, which will be a slower month overall. Anyway… blerg.

    I absolutely love this look and your bag! Have you ever thought of using a base shaper for either of your bags?! That could really help to preserve the structure and shape of your designer bags! You can buy them from http://designerbaseshapers.com/ or eBay and Etsy. Have a nice day! 🙂

    Inspired by you and motivated by a need for some winter boots that will keep me warm and dry in our Canadian winter, I got myself to the Croc store in our neighbourhood and bought some boots! They didn’t have the style that you have, which I wanted, but I still found some that I really love. My husband was with me and he thinks they’re very cute. Can’t go wrong with that. Plus I grabbed a nice pair of suede slippers too, as they were having a second pair for 50% off.

    That brings my total pairs of Crocs to 4, and as a fellow fan I always enjoy seeing how you wear yours.
