my style wearing my DIYs Winter 2011 outfits

And I Found it There in your Heart

DSC_0021

I was looking at the husband in this shot …he makes me smile

What I’m Wearing
* Over sized {HUGE} chunky knit cardigan – Vintage – from Etsy shop Retro Threadz = LOVE
* Black Forever 21 cowl neck thin sweater
* William Rast SIENNA jean/jegging from GILT
* Matiko Cadie Over The Knee boots {and on sale now} I gotta say that these boots are surprisingly comfy for heels however they are a total bitch to put on and get off. I need assistance pulling them off. They’re tight around the ankle/arch/heel when trying to get them on and since they’re so tall, there’s nowhere to grab to yank them up. After about 2minutes of struggling to get them on and almost breaking a sweat, I think it’s just not gonna happen, but somehow, I always find a way. {and I love that there’s no zipper} I have them in taupe too
* Necklace is a quick DIY. It was actually the chain with my vintage lobster necklace but since that was a bit too summery for this winter look, I grabbed this vintage-looking heart pendant and my needle nose pliers and swapped them once I got to work. I purchased the heart at Jo-Ann’s the last time I was there. I was surprised by it’s greatness 😉 I don’t see the heart online but they have a really cute brass skeleton key and fab lion’s head
* Various stacking and vintage rings and vintage Gucci bag

Title: lyrics from Bryan Adams “Heaven” …for my husband & the heart around my neck.
