I am always on the fence about headbands and don’t wear them often. Though I do always love a romantic Dolce and Gabbana crowned moment, they usually feel either too childish on me or too preppy. But these seem different… they have a far more grown-up feeling than your average band.
They’re a headband-crown-sort-of-turban-but-not-a-turban that’s far more edgy than preppy, but with a chic and somehow classic look… I can’t put my finger on it but these headbands are definitely taking the style to a whole new level and I’m kind of loving them… They’re big and knotted and pearled and bedazzled and velvet and leather and all the things!
Maybe it’s the throwback to the ’90s that has got me hooked but whatever it is, my favorites are by designer Lele Sadoughi (though they’re very expensive), who I first spotted on Instagram and her designs are just fabulous.
