I first tried this outfit with my black and white striped heels, which I adore of course, but something just wasn’t right. It’s so strange how much I am NOT feeling heels right now. Like somehow my outfits with heels just look outdated to me… but I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s just my new location; it seems kind of ridiculous to wear heels here, but still… even if that were the case, it wouldn’t be unlike me to wear the heels for the photo and then swap them out for some comfies after {yes, I’ve been known to do this from time to time} But honestly, I just liked the sportier look with the Supergas so much better. Maybe it was just bound to happen? I mean major heels at all heights have been “trending” for quite some time now, so maybe it’s just time to move on. Remember the 90’s? {if you’re old enough to, lol} Not so much the “heel” decade. 70’s Platforms… yes! Frankenstein shoes… bring them on! But heels… not really. But who knows, next week I could be singing a different tune.
