What I’m Wearing
* Vintage Ungaro mint blazer. I have no words for how much I love this little blazer which I have been DYING TO WEAR since I got it at the end of June. I mean, look at the amazing detailing in the back and sleeves!? …and let me tell you that I scored this for under $30. die. Even if it’s not your style {it is a bit much} it’s a really fun vintage piece to have …and I’m thinking it may have originally been sold with a matching skirt. I actually have the lapels tucked in today because the husband informed me I looked like a Trekki because they end in points, facing each other …and then he laughed a little. lol.

* BB Dakota Williams Skirt which reminds me a bit of Herve Leger and a bit like one I owned in the early 90’s. I actually won this super-fab skirt from StylePorn and Chicdowntown.com. Thank you!

* Velvet Angels Women’s Bottomline Platform Wedge – amazon.com …which I debuted in this post

* Vintage pseudo-lace tank …and it’s vintage because I’ve had it for that long. sad. I think I originally got it at Target. funny. …see it here

* Hair: slightly waved with the iron.

OH the horrendous fires in LA right now are creating the absolute worst dark brownish haze and air quality. I hope none of you have been affected by them …and if so, I hope you and your family are safe.

. . . and for the record, if you weren’t sure about the recession, the fact that Pearl Jam just released a new single should really tell you something about the economy. If Kurt Cobain were still alive, Nirvana would be soon to follow. I suggest wearing all your bright colors now because soon, it’ll be all grays and blacks and holes and plaid and vintage Levi’s …and really, that’s only fun for so long.
