You know I rarely post other people’s DIYs, but I just LOVE this idea and honestly can’t believe I’ve never thought of it on my own! Not that I’m a genius or anything, it’s just one of those things that is so clever and so easy and really creates something special, different, and beautiful.
I Stumbled upon the DIY post the other day on the Free People blog where they first dip-dyed a t-shirt, you know, what everyone is doing right now, but added a fun speckled twist by simply sprinkling the dry powder dye onto the t-shirt while it is still wet and allowing it to dry {then rinsing}… Genius! And I just love it!

Wow, crazy!! I’d be a little scared to try, but I guess if it doesn’t’ work, worst case is you have a regular dip-dyed tee! I just made a mint one myself. =)

Great idea! I’m wondering if we have to use hot water (or is cold ok?) We can even use a light pink t-shirt with shades of deeper pink/fuschia sprinkles at the bottom, etc. etc. The color combinations are endless…….Enjoy the sunshine, Sunshine!
