Brahmin Bags my style Style Summer 2012 Outfits

Do you hear the swallows when they’ve flown?

What I’m Wearing…

* Swallow print dress in navy c/o Line and Dot ~ I love this dress. It’s light and comfy and flattering on days when I’m feeling like I don’t want anything touching my skin {i.e. pms} HOWEVER, the waist tie/sash/bow in the same print blends into the dress appearing like I have a little pot belly, {see in the photo above}. Next time, I’ll wear it with an actual belt in a contrasting color ~ You can see this dress and others hanging in my dressing room in this post.
* Gold branch bracelets by Cynthia Wolff, Hermes double wrap, Kenneth Cole rose gold watch
* Lumete sunglasses
* Matiko cut out wedges. I love a great flesh-toned shoe that elongates the leg.
* Brahmin bag

* Title: lyrics from JOAN BAEZ ~ A Swallow Song

A few months ago Brahmin sent me a couple bags from their fall collection to style for possible inclusion in their upcoming Fall catalogue and/or social media use. I’m not sure if or what will get used as of yet but I did get the go-ahead to finally share the outfit shots with you, and this is one of them. I wore this outfit to film in actually, the last day of filming… though I can’t really tell you what I was filming. Isn’t blogging silly like that? I want to share any and all exciting news with you immediately… that’s the fun part! But there’s always a delay for some reason or another. In this case, it’s like a pregnancy… you don’t want to share the news until you know it’s “safe” to. Though, in all honesty, if I ever did get pregnant, I would have to share right away because if something happened, I’d have to share that as well.
