I watched Practical Magic last night because it felt right for the season AND because I think my friend watched it recently so it kept standing out to me AND because I couldn’t scroll through Netflix any longer without losing my mind, please tell me I’m not the only one?
Anyway, I’ve seen the movie before, a few times really, but last night it felt as if it were talking right to me. I swear I must sound crazy sometimes, but I can’t help it… certain things just jump out at me and parallel with my life or the events in my recent past life that led me to this point. Even the songs, the soundtrack to the movie parallels. No, I’m not a witch and no I haven’t killed anyone, lol, it’s the little details for me, little phrases, symbols, details. It’s all in the details, like everything really. I thought maybe I just hadn’t paid attention in the past, but it didn’t exist as is does now, so it wouldn’t have made sense in the same way. I don’t think I’ve ever heard this Stevie Nicks song either, which is crazy, and it’s awesome AND IT’S FRIDAY. So yay… that’s all I’ve got for today.
