What I’m Wearing
* Black jersey dress with satin hem from Forever 21 …last seen here
* Vintage patent nude belt from Ebay ages ago
* Jimmy Choo ‘Phoenix’ Espadrille Sandal
* Vintage turquoise necklace worn as bracelet from Ebay
* D&G – DW0340 (Gold) – check watch
* Kenneth Jay Lane
* Louis Vuitton speedy 30 bag
* Tom Ford Anouk sunglasses
* Hair: washed in the morning clipped and let air dry
I threw this on Monday morning to go into the gallery {usually my day off} and I wasn’t feeling too well, thus lacking creativity in all departments, including dressing. I have to admit I preferred it without the belt but felt it had a more pulled together look belted.
I dropped my camera again at the beginning of my shoot and it broke …again …so I had to run home and use my alternate which for some reason isn’t as good. It adds a graininess to the images which I cannot stand. So by the time I finally took any photos my mood had turned from mediocre/not feeling well to down right cranky and admittedly, on the verge of tears but I forced a smile. It was a rough day …and an even rougher evening as I was sick for the rest of the night and into the following day. I feel a bit better today which is nice. Sometimes I think getting sick is just to remind you how good you actually do feel when you’re not.

I am such a dork. I love how you’ve tied your belt and have seen it before, so I tried it out today, but I just couldn’t understand how to do the knot. Thanks for the visual reminder – big help for a ‘tard like me. 🙂
*off to go fix my belt now*

BEAUTIFULLY INVISIBLE
Glad to hear you are feeling better. This is a great look – sometimes all you need is some simplicity.
Sorry to hear about your camera. What type of camera is your alternate? (Or even the one you dropped?) If they are Canon’s you should look into their Loyalty program for a replacement.

It looks like your old camera is a Canon Elph like mine. Over time the photos will turn out more pink/purple due to a flaw in the chip. Eventually the camera will get the ‘purple screen of death’. Canon will do a free fix for you: http://preview.tinyurl.com/27j2m42
Hope that helps.
