Eyeko Makeup Review // Eyeliner, Mascara, Brow Pen

Eyeko-Alexa-Cung-makeup

I finally had a chance to try a few products from the Alexa for Eyeko makeup collection and I’m hooked. The Eye Do eyeliner pen and Brow Liner are by far, my favorites. The mascara is great too, but I am admittedly addicted to my 3d Fiber Mascara for length and thickness. I do however, now use the Eyeko mascara as a base for my 3d fibers.

The Eye Do liquid eyeliner pen is ridiculously easy to create a smooth cat eye with, though I tend to add a little kohl so I can smudge it up a bit because my eyes just look better with blurred lines instead of hard. But it’s the first eyeliner I use now and build over it. I just love it. It’s like a smooth, fine marker, that just paints on and dries quickly and is the perfect consistency.

Above are the Eye Do liquid eyeliner pen {$19} and the Brow Liner {$19} – which I thought was going to be a little bit too dark for my light brows, but actually blended nicely. This is the first time I’ve used this kind of brow pen, and it’s great, because you can actually draw on lines that mimic your brow hairs and blend it pretty seamlessly.

The Eye Do Mascara {$26} is pretty great and comes with cute little guitar picks to help separate your lashes {or at least that’s what I used them for :)} I love the brush… it separates and adds volume … but just isn’t enough for my straight and blonde shorty lashes, so I begin with it, and build with my 3d Fiber mascara after.

I didn’t really take a closeup of my finished face {more than the few shown}, but you can see my finished look in yesterday’s outfit post, or in this closeup from Instagram last week.

Happy New Year’s Eve!
