I Look Like A Garden Gnome

faux fur vest-winter outfit

What I’m Wearing…

* Faux Fur Vest by Free People from last season
* Green plaid flannel shirt from Asos
* Le Skinny jeans by FRAME Denim
* Furry hat from Shopbop last year… also, I need new hats/beanies, like bad.
* Chloe Belladone sunglasses in gray {old}
* Boots are Crocs from last year… but I just got a box full of new ones to try out, which makes my feet & ankle so happy.

I wear this vest out nearly every time I leave the house… and I can’t help it. It’s just on the verge of freezing here so rather than wear a full coat always, I tend to layer up on thermals and flannels and sweaters and just throw this vest on over whatever was last to go on. So nearly every day I wear it. I’m wearing it right now as I type this and it’s 11pm, I’m indoors, at my desk, with a plug-in heater on my legs. Sure we had a fire earlier and the heater set at whatever my husband thinks is the proper house temperature, but I could honestly always be warmer.

I wore this to walk to the village the other day, {or last weekend actually} so obviously A. I needed layers for warmth, and B. I needed my crocs to keep my feet and ankle from shooting me in the face. I am eternally grateful for my Crocs really, since the doctor prescribed absolutely nothing for me to do to fix my ankle, Crocs are my feet’s best friend. Yeah, I said feets.

So beyond all this blabbing, I think I need more vests because this one is getting worn-out… well, not really, I’m just getting embarrassed wearing it so often. Also, these jeans. Always.
