Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Powder Makeup + Tutorials

Chanel makeup, especially face powders and foundations, will forever remind me of my grandma. She wore it until she couldn’t any longer and even then, was laid to rest in a face full of Chanel makeup. Morbid, maybe, but I can’t help thinking that it may have had a little to do with my grandma’s flawless skin and youthful glow well into her 80′s… or maybe it was all just a dream?

Chanel has a way of making the mundane seem dreamy and the older I get, the more obsessed I become with Chanel makeup and beauty products {as you may have noticed by the monthly features I write on the topic}. Maybe simply to induce a dream-like state of mind… or maybe because my grandma could have been a brand ambassador for Chanel products, if such a title existed in her time.
