A few weeks ago I stopped into this adorable little shop on the rim in Skyforest (in Lake Arrowhead) called evergreen – curated goods, which I’ve driven by numerous times (mostly on the way to Skypark to skate) and even shot an outfit in front of last winter before they had their sign up… because of this, I mistakenly assumed that this little shop was part of BaseCamp, the equally adorable, yet totally different, but similar shop next door 🙂
A few months ago at the Modern Lodge brunch, Summer handed us the most amazing smelling hand sanitizing spray by Wildland Organics and I had to go back for more… not because I’ve already run out of mine, but because I’m co-hosting a baby shower (that is today) and I was in charge of gift bags for guests, and the literal first thing I thought of was the hand sanitizer.
So, I stopped into evergreen to get some and luckily they had 20 in stock… and then I went back with Chad for stickers and we did a little shopping. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop by evergreen and BaseCamp. They’re located at the top of Kuffle canyon across from Lou Eddies Pizza and The Parlour Room (Shannon’s salon) and the new Little Bear Bottle shop and a few really great vintage and thrift shops as well.
There are so many little corners of this mountain that are bursting with cuteness and creativity and really cool people and it makes me happy to see Lake Arrowhead really coming to life in new and exciting ways.
Happy Friday Lovecats!
